Azalea Sands Golf Club opened in 1972 right in the heart of North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Designed by golf course architect, Gene Hamm, this is one of the classics on the Myrtle Beach golf scene. It has the reputation for offering great golf for all ages and is one of the few courses along the Grand Strand that has no homes adjoining the course. Because Azalea Sands is an open layout golf course, it is easily deceiving. From the tips, she plays 6444 yards and offers a great challenge for any golfer. Our white tees offer up a fun 6016-yard round, and from the Gold, it’s an inviting 5613 yards. Two sets of ladies/junior/senior (red and silver) tees play at 4615 and 3730 yards.
